Today was an exciting day, it was filming day 1! We filmed almost everything that had young Eliza in it. We filmed with Anna's very cooperative and patient aunt, Laura, who plays our young Eliza. Laura not only acted but she was giving us suggestions on how to do little things like how to film particular shots and what Eliza should say. We also had Laura record what older Eliza will say so we can start consistent with the voice. Laura was very lovely to work with. We also had Anna's younger cousin "play" Spencer. Like Stoklosa suggested, we didn't have to show Spencer at all, but we got Mattias to play his shoulder, hands, and feet, for our over the shoulder shots, holding hands scene, and Valentine's Day scene. Overall, we got a lot done today, we're exhausted but we're ready for the next couple of days full of filming.
